The name is Jurri Saddler Jr. and I would describe myself as an in-between man. Throughout the years I have found it somewhat hard to settle down into any one particular thing. I may be a just another product of a world that churns out the restless faster than anything else really or I may just have ADHD tendencies. Who knows? Whatever the cause, there has always been one constant that keeps me anchored as a person who feels constantly adrift. Writing.

I decided to create this blog in an attempt to establish some sort of permanence within my life. However, I am not going to lie. I have had other blogs before and didn’t stick with it as I should have. But I want to throw caution in the wind as they say and try to develop a little more as a writer. Practice, practice, practice-I know, another tired aphorism-they say and I do believe there is truth in that. If I write more, won’t I get better?

That being said, some concrete details about myself may be in order. I graduated from the University of Wyoming in the spring of 2013 with a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education-English. I plan to return to good ol’ Udubb for graduate school in the spring of 2015. Fingers crossed that it will work out. While I am there I hope to participate in some slam poetry contests. If I keep this blog up, I should have a wealth of material. Again, fingers crossed.
